The fund will follow a conservative investment strategy so that the endowment fund will grow and eventually create an ongoing, steady stream of support our mission and core vaules. For every dollar that is contributed to the CIM Endowment before the end of the year we have an anonymous donor who will match your donations up to $5000. Following the philosophy of Shinichi Suzuki, violinist, educator, and humanitarian, we believe that any child who is properly trained can develop musical ability, just as all children develop the ability to speak their mother tongue. The potential of every child is unlimited. Our goal is not simply to develop professional musicians, but to nurture loving human beings and help develop each child’s character through the study of music. The Colorado Institute of Music has a long term goal of making our Institute available to any child who wishes to attend regardless of their family's financial constraints. Admittedly, this is a lofty goal but we believe it is possible to reach this goal within the next 7 years. Please contribute if you can towards this goal.
